GFI MailSecurity for Exchange/SMTP
http://www.gfi.com

GFI MailSecurity for Exchange/SMTP is an email content checking, exploit detection, threats analysis and anti-virus solution that removes all types of email-borne threats before they can affect an organization’s email users. GFI MailSecurity uses multiple virus scanners to scan inbound email, which include McAfee, Kapsersky and Bit Defender. This unique feature drastically reduces the average time to obtain virus signatures which combat the latest threats, and therefore greatly reduces the chances of an infection. Other key features include an email content and attachment checking module, to quarantine dangerous attachments and content; an exploit shield, to protect against present and future viruses based on exploits (eg. Nimda, Bugbear); an HTML threats engine, to disable HTML scripts; and a Trojan & Executable Scanner, to detect malicious executables. GFI MailSecurity is available as an SMTP gateway version and for VS API. The gateway version should be deployed at the perimeter of the network as a mail relay server and scans inbound and outbound mail. The VS API version integrates seamlessly with Exchange Server 2000/2003 and scans the Exchange 2000/2003 information stores. Both versions can be deployed simultaneously to achieve optimum protection.

Each card that you create can also contain short notes and comments. Each CardBase document can contain up to 10,000 records. Cards can be quickly sorted by name or custom card groups. Searching and sorting operations are fast and intuitive. Up to three phone numbers and a FAX line can be stored and dialed automatically. Phone dialer activity can be logged. CardBase can selectively print records for Business Envelopes, Mailing Labels, Organizer Pages, Phone Lists and Rolodex Cards. If you make your living using the telephone, or just have a need for a simple address book and telephone dialer now that Windows 95 no longer includes the Cardfile program, CardBase will make a nice addition to your Windows system.

HaveTheyReadItYet

HaveTheyReadItYet
http://www.havetheyreadityet.com

HaveTheyReadItYet is a unique privacy-protection and receipt-notification tool for users of Microsoft's Outlook Express and Outlook 2000/XP. It runs in the background under Win95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP, and automatically inserts special images called "stamps" into new message composition windows. Anytime after a stamped message is sent, the sender or any recipient it can click on the image and see when and "where" (in terms of Internet addresses) the message has been opened. Anyone can download the program for free and can install and use any number of copies with complete anonymity. Each copy comes with five re-usable stamps, allowing indefinite no-charge use by anyone who does not need to track more than five messages at one time. Users can purchase additional stamps to track more messages, or can use unlimited free stamps that bear logos of HaveTheyReadItYet partner companies. Users benefit from (1) time saved on phone calls to confirm that messages have arrived, (2) miscommunication prevented when a sender wrongly assumes that a message has been read, and (3) better coordination when e-mail is used in any time-sensitive situation. HaveTheyReadItYet servers never receive or store any confidential information. Its technology does not affect the routing of e-mail messages, does not modify messages after they are sent (so it is uniquely suited to secure messaging), and does not require identifying information about senders or receivers. HaveTheyReadItYet stamps are never hidden from recipients, never run code of any kind on a recipient's computer, and anyone who clicks on them can see all of the information they collect. It protects the privacy of both senders and receivers of e-mail messages by allowing any party to an e-mail conversation to see whether the conversation is being observed by people who are not listed as recipients. The product's growing postage-stamp image catalog contains several hundred images, and users can create their own.

Internet Watcher 2000

Internet Watcher 2000
http://www.turbodemo.com

Internet Watcher makes surfing faster by removing banner advertisements, Pop-Up windows, Cookies, Java applets, and Javascript. You can set the program to display only the first frame of animated images. In addition to saving network resources, Internet Watcher makes pages easier to read and quicker to print. The Parental Protection enhances the peace of mind of parents, teachers, and business owners by filtering web pages and ensuring that only appropriate content finds its way to the screen. It's easy to include or exclude web pages by URL, or by defining a set of keywords that you deem to be inappropriate for your users. Questionable pages can be blocked or password-protected. In addition to defining who can see what pages, at what times, you also have an audit trail that keeps track of which web pages have been visited. The program's bi-directional cookie management uses a filter list and an algorithm to distinguish between cookies that are needed to let you revisit important web sites, and those cookies that are violating your privacy. Internet Watcher makes it easy to accept cookies normally, block them, or assign them your own expiration date. You can also do housekeeping on the existing cookies on your computer. Because Internet Watcher 2000 is a true proxy server, it can be installed easily on a LAN's web server, and all employees can share a single Internet connection. By maintaining Internet Watcher 2000 data on the server, the network administrator can manage cookies, filter pages, and maintain log files for all Internet users on the LAN. The program includes interfaces in English, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, and Hungarian. Internet Watcher 2000 runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000, and can be easily auto-configured to work with Netscape Navigator 2 or newer, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 or newer, or Opera 3 or newer.
