Pagegate is a sophisticated wireless messaging server application. It can send SMS and text messages to pagers, mobile phones, PIMs and other wireless devices. PageGate can accept messages from many different sources: networked computers running the PageGate Windows Client program, email messages that are received in (SMTP) or messages that are collected (POP3), web pages on an intranet or the Internet (CGI), executables run from the commandline, text files that are scanned for messages, serial ports that receive textual data, and data received from a modem connection. PageGate supports several delivery protocols and delivery methods. Messages can be delivered via the Internet using the following protocols: SNPP, WCTP, and SMTP (email).
