WebScout is a powerful, yet simple to configure, HTTP and SOCKS 5 proxy which can share, monitor and filter Internet access for a variety of web browsers and Internet applications. The intuitive user interface makes it simple to create access rules controlling what activity is allowed and which should be blocked. You can simply deny access to a blocked site or provide your own custom error message informing the user about your Acceptable Usage Policy. Rules can be created to allow or block access based on the workstation, username, time of access, domain name, directory or filename. For example, you can block access to yahoo.com/games, all EXE files, or permit access during lunch hours only. Besides blocking access, you can also speed throttle certain requests to a slower speed so that they do not congest your network. For example, you can speed throttle MP3, EXE and ZIP file downloads to a maximum of 10 KB/s per user. Easy Survey is a software package for Microsoft Office Pro, designed for survey creation and conducting. In contrast to another survey applications, Easy Survey uses the possibilities afforded by Microsoft Access for form creation. It allows you to make the survey form quickly and simply. You need only create the essential tables in Microsoft Access and create a Form for the survey on the basis of these tables. After that, the Easy Survey Wizard will help you to make a "Survey Project" which you can then use in Microsoft Outlook. When the "Survey Project" is created, the special add-in for Microsoft Outlook will create an HTML message with the questionnaire which can be sent out with only two mouse clicks. The respondent fills the received form and clicks the form submitting button to send it back to the sender. The same add-in will process incoming messages in Microsoft Outlook, select the ones with the survey results and input the data in to the Microsoft Access table which you have created. Not only can you distribute an HTML survey form created by the wizard via e-mail, you can also publish it on a web-site or put it on a CD. Get rid of the annoying security alerts in Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002/XP and 2003! Advanced Security for Outlook allows you to determine the violator and specify the permanent action for this program (and only this!) : allow access, block access or run the default Outlook handler. In the future, the specified action will be executed automatically and Outlook Security will not annoy you with messages about trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Microsoft Outlook. The standard security system has two drawbacks: first, it does not allow users to determine the source of the threat, second, a lot of other applications developed before the security system appeared can be extremely annoying due to their constantly appearing warnings. Since the security system is constantly updated, a "fresh" program can get into the list of such applications quite easily. There is still yet another drawback resulting from the first two: when the user temporarily disables the security system this allows any other program also to work without any security system restrictions. Our software solves all of the above problems providing the information not only about the type of alert, but also about what program caused it and makes it possible to specify for this (and only this!) program a permanent course of action: allow access, block access or run the default Outlook handler. Later on you can change or delete the action chosen. It should be mentioned that there is a range of tasks (which is rather narrow) that an Outlook developer can implement only through the use of the object model and its "blocked" methods.
