The Day View OCX is a list of items or appointments for a day which is like the Microsoft Outlook Day View displayed in the calendar. The Day View OCX allows the programmer to add, move and remove items, and define their appearance. Each item may have a title bar and icon, to differentiate between types of appointment. The appointments may dragged and stretched using the user interface. The DayView control provides numerous events to detect what changes are being performed by the user. The DayView will also fire an event when a start time or end time is equal to the current system time, as a reminder. The help file is available for download. CARTHAGO Groupware 2005 is a application server for MS Windows platforms to manage email, contacts, groups, appointments and tasks using a standard web browser. Through a regular webserver, you have access to your personal data from everywhere in the worldwide internet. All data is stored in a SQL database and is available very fast. Each user has his personal address book and appointment calendar. Existing MS Outlook or Outlook Express contacts can be imported easily with the build-in import feature. Special groupware features allow multiple users inside the domain to share contacts and appointments. Received messages can be clearly arranged with message folders. Each user can decide from which originators he wants to receive messages using his personal anti spam list. A build-in auto responder responds to incoming messages with predefined text templates. CARTHAGO supports international domain names (IDN) and is thus also suitable for email addresses with special characters, without the need of a special conversion tool. Layout and language of the user interface can selected by each user himself. System administrators can change server settings, edit domain and user accounts and view active sessions using the web based configuration menu. A detailed event log shows information about all user activities. CARTHAGO Groupware 2005 contains a ISAPI interface and can be integrated in almost every webserver with ISAPI support. Networking calendars MultiSchedule is a calendar software application that can be used on a network or on just one computer. Multiple users can use multiple computers to input/view/edit calendar events simultaneously in real time. All data are stored on a central server/computer. No dedicated server/computer is needed. The client side software can coexist with the server side software on one computer. It works for both Peer-to-Peer network and Client/Server network. Connect to the calendar server through Internet If you have a server that is accessible over the Internet, MultiSchedule will be able to connect to the server over the Internet! We recommend that you use a DSL/ADSL or Cable modem to connect to the server if you are connecting to it over Internet to get the best result. If you don't have a server you can use the "Hosted" version of MultiSchedule and we will take care of your database on our servers which have a super fast connection. This way you don't have to bother about your calendar data, you will be able to access it on every computer that has Internet access. Synchronize with MS Outlook MultiSchedule is able to do two-way synchronization with MS Outlook. This way you can synchronize your calendar with your MS Outlook, without having to buy an extremely expensive MS Exchange Server.
