CheckInbox checks multiple POP3 email accounts. With five forms of alerting you to new emails, CheckInbox makes sure you are immediately notified if you have new email. It supports user settable check frequency, as well as options for starting up to the system tray. Version 1.7 will now recreate the tray icon if Explorer crashes (!), and fixes a bug in the "launch program" settings. CheckInbox minimizes to your system tray, so it is out of the way while you work. CheckInbox comes with a 30-use trial period. This program works in the system tray and serves for checking unlimited number of POP3 e-mail accounts. It can execute various types of notifiers whenever there is new e-mail waiting in your mailbox. Each e-mail account can have its own checking interval. You can preview messages while they are still on server and decide which messages to keep and which should be removed immediately. You can set a list of spam filtering conditions and program will automatically remove such messages. You can also set a list of friendly e-mail notifying conditions and get extra notification when such messages arrive. Program also allows you to maintain a list of web pages it should periodically visit and check for changes. Whenever it detects a change on a web page you will be notified by selected notifier and/or automatic web browser launch.

Pocket Email Checker gives you full control over POP3 accounts when you are on the move, away from desktop PC's arsenal. It is easy to check accounts, preview messages and delete unwanted ones directly on a server before download. You have two options to preview a message, quick preview and server preview. Quick preview will immediately show you the beginning of a message retrieved during the account checking process. Server preview is designed to display more information by connecting to the server again and retrieving additional lines for a single message. You can set number of lines to retrieve for both quick and server preview in the program. Message header is initially hidden in preview but there is also an option to show it if necessary. The number of accounts to check is not limited, plus you can set checking interval for, or temporarily disable, each one of them separately.
