Version 1.7 will now recreate the tray icon if Explorer crashes (!), and fixes a bug in the "launch program" settings. CheckInbox minimizes to your system tray, so it is out of the way while you work. CheckInbox comes with a 30-use trial period. CheckInbox is shareware, and costs $10 US as a one-time payment with free upgrades. This program requires the Visual Basic 6.0 runtimes (MSVBVM60.DLL) and the Microsoft Windows Installer to install.

This program works in the system tray and serves for checking unlimited number of POP3 e-mail accounts. It can execute various types of notifiers whenever there is new e-mail waiting in your mailbox. Each e-mail account can have its own checking interval. You can preview messages while they are still on server and decide which messages to keep and which should be removed immediately. You can set a list of spam filtering conditions and program will automatically remove such messages. You can also set a list of friendly e-mail notifying conditions and get extra notification when such messages arrive. Program also allows you to maintain a list of web pages it should periodically visit and check for changes. Whenever it detects a change on a web page you will be notified by selected notifier and/or automatic web browser launch.

Pocket Email Checker gives you full control over POP3 accounts when you are on the move, away from desktop PC's arsenal. It is easy to check accounts, preview messages and delete unwanted ones directly on a server before download. You have two options to preview a message, quick preview and server preview. Quick preview will immediately show you the beginning of a message retrieved during the account checking process. Server preview is designed to display more information by connecting to the server again and retrieving additional lines for a single message. You can set number of lines to retrieve for both quick and server preview in the program. Message header is initially hidden in preview but there is also an option to show it if necessary. The number of accounts to check is not limited, plus you can set checking interval for, or temporarily disable, each one of them separately.

Email Validation Control first checks syntax of email address before actually checking with SMTP server and mailbox. By default ASP.Net Email Address Validator Control checks your system for your primary DNS server. As a benefit, you can specify specific DNS Servers in the form of a comma-delimited string. ASP.Net Email Address Validator Control will attempt to connect to each one, until a successful connection is made, and then use the first responsive DNS Server for the remainder of the ASP.Net Email Address Validator Control session. Email Validator Control has a built-in high performance internal cache that stores previously looked-up MX Records. For example, once the MX Records for hotmail.com have been determined, Email Validator Control no longer makes the expensive DNS Queries again, to determine those records. Instead, when the 2nd email address is encountered, that belongs to hotmail.com, Email Validator Control checks it's internal cache to see if the records are there, and then uses those records. By default the Email Validator Control cache is set to time out every 15minutes, however, this time can be set by the programmer, to be minutes, hours, or even days!
